Amy delivers conversations for pet owners we didn’t even know we needed. The most intriging episode was the trip new england to deliver the dog. So much goes in to pet rescue the average person does not see. Highly recommend!!!

Amy has so much knowledge and I look forward to every episode. She’s helped me cultivate a deeper connection with my two dogs and I’m grateful for all her expertise. If you have a pet or are thinking of getting one then this is a MUST listen!!!

I am totally obsessed with the Starlight Pet Talk podcast! Amy the host, is amazing and so knowledgeable about everything pets. She brings such a warm and genuine vibe to every episode, making it a must-listen I tell all my friends about. The episode on what to do when your pet dies really hit home for me because I just lost my furbaby I've had since I lived at home before college.. It was super informative and comforting, with lots of great ideas on how to honor and remember our babies after they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Amy and her guest were so compassionate and provided tons of helpful advice. Amy’s interviewing skills are great and she has great guests on the show. her guests always bring top-notch insights. I can’t recommend this podcast enough! If you want to up your pet parenting game and connect with your pets on a deeper level, definitely start listening now!

I've listened to every episode, and every time I think I have a fave, Amy finds another great guest. Amy's guests are so interesting and she has a way of asking the same questions that I would ask! So many times, while listening, I say "Hmm! I never thought of that!" I've purchased items from the Top 20 Favorite Pet Products Episode (Oct 31, 2023) and was not disappointed. I've learned so much about pet nutrition that I've changed my cat's food - all for the better. (He also got a new bed out of this episode) Scroll, download, listen......you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoyed the episode with the founder of Lap Of Love. They were such a compassionate and helpful resource for us when we lost our precious Georgia to cancer. It was so interesting to hear how this great organization began, and the journey of the founder. Amy Castro, founder of starlight outreach and rescue has so much knowledge and compassion for lost, abandoned and abused animals. She’s such an advocate for them and saves so many. She has devoted her time and resources to making a difference. There is so much to learn and Amy is a willing teacher. Her sense of humor and knowledge makes listening to her podcasts a great learning experience. Please consider financially supporting this worthy organization. Especially if you are an animal lover like me.

This is the first pet related podcast I’ve ever heard and I’m looking forward to more! I didn’t know that there were bunny rescues and found the episode about the rabbits really interesting! I don’t usually listen to shows longer than 30 minutes but it kept my interest even though I don’t intend to have any rabbits. I do have 5 dogs and 3 hens so am eager to hear more about best practices!

I’m new to the podcast but have gone back and listened to several episodes . I’m in rescue , but I’ve still learned more about it than I knew before . I also love the podcasts about cats and dogs. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this 🐾

I have fostered kittens, owned cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish and hamsters. However I am still learning from this podcast! A recent episode even reminded me that I am allergic to hay so that the guinea pig my daughter wants may not be a good idea. Love this podcast!
